~Perpetual Script - A Gratifying Week of Work - It's the Small Things~

So, this was a challenging week of work. Challenging, but I think in a good way as I actually pushed myself a little. I know that my time at Lululemon will soon end. But, I did want to try to at least expand my skillset a bit. This week I did this by training some new starts. 

It was a fun experience! I think because I was on the other shoe (to borrow a metaphor) I was the one training someone new. I was the one who had to make them feel relaxed, comfortable, and not feel overwhelmed. Guys... that can feel so gratifying. But not only that, I just appreciated the chance to do it.

My motivation often times comes from a focus, a single goal. But also, from feedback and the gift of more responsibility. I appreciated that my boss thought I could do this. I appreciated the faith my boss had in me. I appreciated the chance to grow in this skill.

I am also proud of myself as (if you know me) you know I'm an introvert. I don't really care to be around people much. So going outside my regular norm in that regard and doing it well was, like I said, gratifying. 

It's really the smallest things in life that bring you the most joy, you know? That said, it is now the weekend and I am going to just chill for the next three days! Sleep, game, write, etc. It's going to be, delightful!

~Perpetual Script - A Long but Profitable Week of Work~

Well, this weekend was a short one. Actually, I didn't really have one if I'm being honest. I worked Saturday and from how things are looking, will probably work next Saturday as well. Honestly guys, the next couple of weeks are going to be crazy in general. It's peak season at Lululemon and that means a lot of volunteer/mandatory overtime. Is that a bad thing? No, not really. Actually for me it's helpful. 

One of my aims for the end of this year is to finally be free of a lot of annoying dept. These final weeks of 2023 will really see that come to fruition, at least, if what my boss said the other day is true. In any case, today begins the first of that long wild ride. Here is hoping it'll go well.

~Perpetual Script - The Roadmap of 2024 - A Year of Blogging!~

Greetings Everyone!

Welcome back to my blog! Or maybe I should say new as I've never really invested in this blog prior to know. I mean, lord knows I've tried, but I never seem to have anything cohesive enough; well, up until now that is! 2024 is so close my friends and one of my aspirations is to begin writing about my experiences throughout that year. 

I think this'll be a great time to do it as I have a lot to look forward to in 2024! What exactly? Well, keep an eye out! I have a couple of posts to share on that very subject. For now though, I just wanted to write this introductory post. I hope ya'll will follow and enjoy the content to come.
